With conditions diminishing notably since today’s earlier submission, I’ve decided to move up the re-cap if only to make mention of the fact that during our most recent high tide that rolled in around 8:45 this morning, none of the secondary or access roads to properties on the ocean, bayside or cove front [in both Orleans and Eastham] were closed or had received even marginal flooding. During the Falmouth Blizzard in early February, the bridge on Herring Brook Rd in Eastham, the fuel dock at Rock Harbor and various access roads off Nauset Heights to name a few were all submersed. Follow up exterior checks will continue and be completed today.
