A winter storm watch has been issue from 1 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday. A watch is issued when accumulations are expected to exceed 8” in a 24 hour period or 6” in 12 hours. Winds are essentially a non factor forecasted to range between 15 and 20 mph with occasional gusts upwards of 35 mph. The issue with this round is not unlike the last where we’re looking at temperatures ranging from the teens to 20’s for the balance of the week. A Light snow should begin mid-day Tuesday and pick up around the evening commute and continuing overnight before moving out Wednesday. Save for sustained frigid temperatures, this posting is essentially a travel advisory as I do not anticipate power outages or notable tree damage.
