We picked up a tick north of 3” during the overnight and early morning hours and as the earth finds its way back on its axis, temperatures look to peak to about 37 degrees at high noon setting up conditions for yet another layer of powder to compact and freeze.

The balance of the week appears to be a case of death by a thousand paper cuts as there looks to be several brief appearances of isolated pockets of snow and mixed precipitation with a steady diet of sub freezing temperatures save for Wednesday where signs of spring may be delivered via a 40 degree high before dipping back down into the 20’s with the possibility of accumulating snow.
