Joaquin: Spaghetti Plots [from the Latin: too early to tell] has the now category 4 hurricane trending in every conceivable direction except backwards. While it remains to be seen whether or not the system makes U.S. landfall or curls east as the most reliable [Euro] model indicates, I wanted to give everyone a glimpse of what is happening now. Yesterday we received about 1 ¼” of much needed rain while wind gusts peaked in the low 40 mph range. Today we’ve seen light hit and miss showers while the gusts have been diminished by half lending us a garden variety wicked bad beach day which appears to be the standard through the beginning of next week.
