So far the timing is spot on. Today we bounced between flurries and borderline sleet and have accumulated anywhere from 1”-2”’s. currently the temps are dropping, winds increasing with gusts upwards of 35 mph and a steadier snow which looks to become a constant around 7 p.m. this evening and persist through mid day Friday. Again, with temperatures plunging into the teens, all indications show that any accumulation will be a kinder fluffier snow.

Our collective hatches are as battened as they can be. Earlier today, heat was bumped up in homes with active water and those with generators were confirmed run ready. Currently, Nstar is reporting 41 outages in Eastham and 0 in Orleans.
