A coastal flood advisory has been issued for Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. and rolling into a flood watch at 4 p.m. where it will remain in effect until noon Thursday. Winds are expected to top out in the lower 20 mph range Christmas morning while temperatures from the advisory to the end of the watch run from the mid 40’s to lower 50’s.
Unless you’re travelling or transferring Chia Pets from the car to the house, this is simply a sloppy two day forecast yet nevertheless one under an advisory and watch which are always addressed. For those who may be traveling to the Cape, late Wednesday should find us in the center of the system so please plan accordingly as 1”-2” are expected with isolated pockets in excess of those projections.
