According to the February 11, Cape Cod Times, two men entered a home on Namequoit only to flee once they realized the home was occupied. The approximate time of the incident was around 1 p.m. on Monday.
The home owner described the men as wearing dark clothing and hats. The car was a dark color 4 door sedan.
Forensic evidence was gathered at the scene by the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities are encouraging anyone with any information to contact Detective Sergeant Andrew McLaughlin of the Orleans Police Department at 508-255-0117.
