…and now it’s a steady diet of Parcheesi and left over Velveeta as we wait and see. The first flakes fell as advertised; currently we’re in a snow globe effect as fine flakes are being pushed around in no particular direction while winds are beginning to pick up and are scheduled to peak by mid afternoon. Although always difficult to tally after blizzard conditions, most of those with official issue windbreakers are standing by the 8″ – 12″ range for total accumulation. Based on the 1″ – 2″ we’ve seen so far, it appears to be notably light than advertised which is good news if it holds. I will plan on circling back between 3 and 4 p.m.
