A High Wind Warning is posted from 10 a.m. Friday – 10 a.m. Saturday. High Wind Warnings are issued when sustained winds in excess of 40 mph are expected to torment yard gnomes and loose items for one hour or more.
Gusts are projected to touch 75 mph and peak Friday afternoon into Friday evening. Temperatures are fixed with lows in the mid 30’s and highs north of 45 for the next calendar week lifting the threat of freeze ups which should take the edge off isolated outages that would typically accompany these forecasted winds.
