Given the forecast I wouldn’t normally raise a flag but I’ve received calls and emails from several customers currently affected by the weather heading north. Albeit Fall, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter storm advisory which means we may realize light accumulation and freezing conditions that may make walking and driving difficult. The system, moving northeast, is currently split with snow to the north and rain to the south of the Cape. By early afternoon the systems are slated to merge over the Cape where we can expect 1”-4” of total accumulation. The townies are putting on the plow blades and the kids are wired but by all indications it’s no more or less than a seasonal backdrop. The silver lining here is a glaring lack of wind going forward. I’ll circle back end of day but I felt compelled to put any concerns to rest.
