Blow Me Down – If for no other reason than to let everyone know I’m aware, a high wind warning went into effect at 1:00 p.m. and will run through 10 p.m. this evening. Winds in the 20 – 30 mph range with gusts in the area of 55 – 60 mph should peak over the next couple of hours. The upside is a current temperature of 51 degrees which assures that no one’s timbers will shiver. Pockets of heavy rain and an occasional rumble of thunder are also expected and will no doubt keep those optimistic cups well north of half full.
