Back in the old days, 2” – 4” of snow meant “if you miss the bus you’re walking” but today…today it triggers a Severe Weather Warning.
On the heels of a couple of windy days where the extent of promised carnage resulted in a pair of yard Gnomes now on disability, we have a Winter Weather Advisory on tap where the current 2” – 4” snow total projections have already prompted delays as the light dusting looks to gain momentum heading into the morning rush hour.
The wind, snow and temps a tick below average over the past several days smacks of a traditional Cape Cod Winter but I felt compelled to offer some proof of life amidst the bellows from the end of days crowd. I will circle back in the morning.
As a lifelong resident of the outer Cape I was the third generation to pick up the mantel in the family construction business.
