A winter storm watch will be affect from 1:00 a.m. Thursday – 7 a.m. Friday in addition to a flood warning which is in affect from 5:00 a.m. Thursday – 10:00 a.m. Friday. Current conditions find us with a light shower and winds out of the East/North East in the upper teens picking up and topping out in the mid to upper 30’s by day’s end. There seems to be little doubt that the Cape will receive a steady diet of heavy rain while interior MA leans towards snow. Our primary issues with this slow moving system consist of strong winds out of the NE reaching +/- 50 mph and notable if not severe coastal erosion both of which will drag on through 4 tidal cycles. Please check back for a follow up Thursday morning.
