Moderate rain is falling as a system moving NE looks to be moments away. Severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings issued earlier this morning have expired on paper as it appears as though we’re still waiting.
Within the past hour, areas on the upper and mid Cape have reported flash floods, wind gusts that jibe with the predicted 45 mph projections and a couple of water funnels thrown in for good measure.
Based on most recent models, it appears as though this cell may continue to track NE across the bay and based on the current speed of the system, we should show improvement in a matter of hours.
