We’re under a winter storm warning until 7 p.m.. At first blush this round appears to be a wait and see as snow projections vary wildly. With a mixed precipitation to start, 1”-2” of snow is expected before the full change over. Winds will be out of the north at 25-35 mph. At this point, it appears as though an additional 3”-5” may accumulate throughout the day tomorrow. In spite of gusts forecasted to break 50mph, I don’t expect nearly the power issues we had last week as the winds appear strong but intermittent rather than sustained and prolonged. Stay tuned.

Born and raised on the elbow of the Cape and making second homes my first priority since 1998.
As a lifelong resident of the outer Cape I was the third generation to pick up the mantel in the family construction business. In my early twenties, I called the Cape my home on weekends as I spent several years working for a variety of off-Cape commercial construction companies.
