Sunday – 10/18/15 – 9:16 a.m.

A freeze warning has been posted for Barnstable County for Monday from 2 a.m. – 9 a.m..

While temperatures are forecasted to fall into the low to middle 20’s during this window, the areas in question are primarily the mid to upper Cape and most certainly further inland.

During my appointed rounds I’ve noticed several outdoor showers and hose bibs that while turned off were not completely drained. While the forecast and projected window of time certainly won’t cast us back to the ice age, if anyone, particularly those who do not start up until November and beyond, has a concern, please touch base and I will add you to the Sunday rundown.

Born and raised on the elbow of the Cape and making second homes my first priority since 1998.
