Sustained winds in the 25 – 35 mph range are expected to gust upwards of 60 mph. Those having made landfall who have pulled lawn furniture and Gnomes from winter quarantine may wish to batten their hatches under the remaining daylight.
The coastal flood warning, which even occurs in the calmest of times when too many bathers venture into the water at once, is posted from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday morning.
